    Only accessible by boat.

    I want to go back, this place is worth exploring but it takes more than 1 day.

    We went on a day trip to cycle around French Island. It has some nice scenery and some history behind it. We found it challenging to do more than 2 or 3 places in a day but we're not that fit so may be easier for others!

    No transport once you are on the island.

    The one shop on the island closes at 5pm so do beware.

    A place you can feel 'away from it all' but only a short ferry ride from Stony Point. Very scenic. Check which roads you can cycle on before you set out.

    Just magnificent, saw a koala in the wild. Flora and fauna is what the island is all about..
